This is the best video of the three, worth it just for the Revolution Club clips alone. It has interesting interviews with Eric, Jack and Ginger plus a good historical introduction, especially of the Graham Bond Organisation. It includes them talking about the impact of LSD and also of the Hall of Fame performance.
The Glenn Campbell Show appearance shows an embarrassed Eric and Ginger playing congas with fag hanging on his lip. Ginger now can laugh about Erics discomfort!
The Revolution Club clips were recorded in December 1967 and were they smokin!
A few things to note: I have seen a different edit of this on TV with more extensive interviews and less music (I didnt tape it as I thought it was the same as the video and on purchase found that it wasnt!). That includes Ginger admitting that he was doing heroin and cocaine during the GBO times and that he ..."was a bit of a horror in those days". Jennie Baker has informed me that that is their style - to prepare different edits for TV and Video.
This video was directed and produced by Martin Baker, son of the great British actor/producer Sir Stanley Baker.
